May 15, 2013

grace poeVindicated ang apelyidong Poe this senatorial election.

Ipinakita ng Filipino voters that we are indeed a country of romantics and the love for the underdogs and the heroes was so prevalent in the recently concluded election for the senatorial positions.

Ginulat lahat ni Grace Poe ang political pundits and surveys when she topped the race.

As of the second day with over 50 percent counted as we are writing this, she is with over fourteen million votes na, over one million ahead of the expected number one senatorial na si Loren Legarda.

This is still a very good showing for Sen. Loren of course and again malaki pa rin naman ang hindi pa nabibilang so anything can happen pa.

But the romanticism we are talking is that fact that in the 2004 presidential election, the late Fernando Poe Jr., Grace’s father, supposedly won the presidential race but was denied so this is being ‘corrected’ for this year’s senatorial race.Hindi niyo napansin that Loren is running second na siyang vice-president ni late FPJ noon and their spokesperson then was Chiz Escudero na nasa third slot naman ngayon.
